OAB to recognize Peter, Tony Viner

TORONTO – Broadcast veterans Peter and Tony Viner will receive Hall of Fame awards at the Ontario Association of Broadcaster’s annual fall conference scheduled for November 6 in Toronto.
Connection 2012, held at the Westin Bristol Place Hotel, will also feature a half day sales training session with branding, marketing and sales strategist Paul Weyland, plus a programming panel moderated by Byrnes Media president Chris Byrnes that will include Julie Adam, VP programming at Rogers; Rob Farina, EVP content at Astral Radio; David Farough, VP brands, programming and new media at Corus Entertainment; and Steve Jones, VP programming for Newcap Radio.
